Professional career

After successfully graduating from the Dr. Obermyr Businessschool in Wiesbaden, he began his professional career with an apprenticeship as a forwarding merchant at DB Schenker in Mainz. In 1989, he successfully completed his studies to become a transport specialist in Frankfurt.
He then worked as a department manager for distribution centers at Nestle AG in Frankfurt. There he specialized in process optimization and the organization of logistics, production and intralogistics systems. In the course of his career, he successfully passed through all relevant stations in the field of logistics and gained many years of international management experience in the areas of logistics, operations and business development in leading companies.
His expertise as a consultant and project manager in international new warehouse and factory construction projects as well as in the implementation of operational improvements and automation are particularly noteworthy.

Today he continues to work successfully as a lecturer in Logistics and Operations at the University Mediterrani in Barcelona and the University Tecnocampus in Mataró, Spain.

His focus as a trainer and consultant is on operational logistics, strategy and business development.
He is also available to companies as a competent advisor on issues relating to the modernization and automation of processes, site selection and outsourcing.
