In February 2002, Christian Buchenthal founded Lobraco e.K. with a clear vision: continuing education for the transportation and logistics industry should be practical, easy to understand, and immediately applicable to everyday work. This vision gave rise to a successful training and consulting program that has been continuously expanded. With the support of experienced specialist trainers and growing demand, Lobraco Akademie GmbH was established in 2010.

Today, the Lobraco Academy boasts more than two decades of experience in professional development and management consulting. The owner-managed company, headquartered in Plaidt, offers practical solutions for businesses in the transportation and logistics industry. Its range of services extends from aviation security, hazardous materials, customs, and scheduling to management, leadership, and sales, as well as talent development, personalized consulting, and coaching.

An important milestone in 2015 was the development of LLION—Lobraco Live Online Seminars. This ensured that interactive live online training sessions became an integral part of our educational offerings from the very beginning. Experienced trainers share their knowledge in person and through direct interaction with participants. In this way, we combine the flexibility of digital continuing education with the quality and interactivity of traditional in-person seminars.

In 2020–2021, the Lobraco Academy once again demonstrated its adaptability and continued to consistently develop its digital learning formats. In 2021–2022, the service portfolio was expanded, particularly in the areas of customs, talent development, and sales, to provide even more comprehensive support to companies.

Today, we’re taking the next step with the Forwarder Certification – Route 42. This modular e-learning program offers flexible, hands-on training in freight forwarding, transportation, customs, and international logistics—without fixed class schedules and tailored to individual learning needs.

Christian Buchenthal is the sole owner and managing director of Lobraco Akademie GmbH. Together with a network of experienced trainers and industry experts, he is continuously developing the company. The focus is on personalized support, professional excellence, and innovative training concepts that drive lasting progress for both individuals and companies.
