Professional career

After graduating from the Cusanus Wirtschaftsgymnasium in Koblenz, Sebastian Pickel completed an apprenticeship as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk in a family-run medium-sized freight forwarding company. His enthusiasm for commercial issues and logistics led him to study business administration with a focus on logistics & e-business at the RheinAhrCampus of the University of Applied Sciences Koblenz, which he completed with Bachelor and Master degrees.

Since 2013, Sebastian Pickel has held logistical positions in companies in the shipping industry from various sectors, so that he has extensive experience in the transport, handling of palletised goods, heavy goods, bulk goods with the modes of transport road, rail and inland waterways.

Mr. Pickel lives for pragmatic solutions, whose conception and implementation include both the approaches of Agile and Lean. The benefit and added value for companies and their customers are always at the forefront.

He accompanies companies in the introduction, restructuring and optimization of processes, as well as the solution of logistical problems. In order to maximize the output for the customer, Mr. Pickel focuses on topics such as standardization, digitization and process cost orientation.

The factor "qualified employee" plays an increasingly important role in today's world, so Mr. Pickel not only wants to use his knowledge himself, but also to pass it on. For this reason, he has been completing a part-time training as a personal and business coach since January 2018. Since September 2018, he has been working as a trainer / consultant transport & logistics for the Lobraco Group.
