Brussels - In its Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/191 of 16 February 2022, the EU Commission decided to impose a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of certain iron or steel fasteners originating in China!
The reason given is the high increase in imports of these articles over the last three years. The European manufacturers are being put under so much "pressure" in their pricing that the EU Commission has now intervened.
Here is an example for screws made of steel with the goods tariff number 73181568900:
The normal duty rate is 3.7%, the anti-dumping duty rate is 86.5%.
Please remember, you must properly tariff the goods!
An anti-dumping duty rate reduction has only been shown for four companies after examination by the EU Commission:
